Social activities
During the Workshop we will have an organised tour in the National Library of Wales on 8 June 15:00 (see the Workshop Programme).
During the Workshop evenings, Participants are invited to discover local amenities: Promenade (North and South Beaches), Old College (under renovation now), to walk (take the Cliff Railway) on the Constitution Hill (where you find the one of the world’s largest Camera Obscuras, which offers a bird’s eye view of 1000 square miles one of land and seascape) or discover ruins of the Aberystwyth Castle.
We can suggest the following place to visit outside the workshop days:
- a walk along the scenic coast path to the nearby town of Borth;
- a trip on the steam train to Devil's Bridge (highly recommended);
- a railway trip up north along the scenic coastline (Barmouth, Harlech, Porthmadog, Pwllheli and more);
