Awards

• PhD student and Marie Curie Fellow Mr Nikolai Gorbushin won a Medal of the Russian Academy of Sciences for his Masters work on "Incubation processes in dynamic fracture and phase transformation of continuous media", done as a student at St.Petersburg State University.
• In June 2015 Mr Nikolai Gorbushin received the third prize in paper competition at the First Summer School on Micromechanics in Bezmiechowa, Poland, while Mr Gennaro Vitucci was elected 'The Soul of the School'.
• Mr Gennaro Vitucci and Mr Nikolai Gorbushin received the T.V. Davies Prize for Applied Mathematics awarded by Aberystwyth University, 2016
• Mr Nikolai Gorbushin received the Diploma for the best talk at the Conference Science and Progress 2016 in Saint-Petersburg, 2016
