During the 9th European Solid Mechanics Conference held in Madrid in July 2015, Miss Monika Perkowska received one of the two Young Researcher Awards for the Best Oral Presentation among PhD student researchers.
She was awarded for her talk on "Particle Velocity Based Universal Hydrofracturing Algorithm for Non-Newtonian Fluids" (joint work with Prof. Gennady Mishuris and Dr Michal Wrobel).
